Canadiens need a power forward; Sabres get a forward who would put up similar numbers this season and add depth to their defence.
Taylor Pyatt for Marcel Hossa and Ron Hainsey

I prefer to have Hossa and Hainsey rather than Pyatt.

I think that both Hossa and Hainsey is a little expensive, especially seeing as Pyatt hasn't yet shown that he will be a premier power forward.
But I agree that Pyatt could be a very valuable addition to the Habs.

I was going to create some joke about Marian Hossa being in this thread, but decided against it.
Either I'm getting older, or seriously lacking creativity.
You be the judge!

Hmm..interesting. I like Hossa and Hainsey, but I like Pyatt too. I'm torn.

Bit much for Pyatt although I wouldn't mind him in Mtl. But Hossa since the recent critics from coach Julien started to take it up a notch in pre-season, playing with more grit, going strong in the corners and even delivering some hits. At this point he's almost guarenteed the 2nd line LW spot to start the season. Let's see where that takes us. He's also big and fast so... I beleive Hossa will shut all his detractors up this year.
Losing him AND Hainsey for Pyatt is the kind of risk a team in rebuilding mode like Montreal will not often take.

I agree with the consensus...Hainsey and Hossa is a bit much for Pyatt.
