Any decent fighters in Hershey this season?

BearsFan30 10-07-2003, 03:48 PM Rob Voltera -- he's a pretty good fighter, he steps up to defend his teammates a lot. Bruce Richardson fights some times... he's the really short one (5'9) that's really fiesty. He's definetely a fan favorite too. Other guys have had fights in the preseason, but since they are trying to get a spot on the roster, you don't know if it will keep up or not. He doesn`t fight too much, which he should when you are 6'5 240 lbs. When he fights, he fights hard, I don`t think we could lose a fight unless he got off balance. For a big man is has above average skating skills, a real smooth stride. Also when he hits he hits hard, when he's on the ice, keep your head up. joeminus 10-19-2003, 04:25 PM Evegeny Artukhin is a good fighter when he fights. Tampa wants him to be more than a fighter, but it looks like he won't get the chance in Hershey. He's been a frequent healthy scratch so far, and in the games he HAS played, he appears to have been used as an enforcer. He has a lot of upside and could develop into so much more than a one-dimensional fighter if Tampa didn't have such a terrible minor-league setup. The way things are going in Hershey, they should probably send him to the ECHL to work on his offense. | ||
