Just did my draft....how's it look?

we all through $25 in the pot...winner takes all....here's my team, in order that they were picked....break down is as follows: 9 forwards, 4 dmen, 1 rookie and 1 goalie:

10 Gaborik (Major flyer pick....if he signs, I get a steal in the 10th rd)

10pts for Goals and Assists
5pts for PIMs
50pts for Hattricks
+/- is multiplied by 10 per player
PPG are worth 15, or 20...


Goalies are based on Wins, save%(somehow) GAA, Shutouts, and they get pts for Goals(50) and assists and PIMs

Nice steal with Datysuk pretty late....... Also, IMO, its a real wonder how you actually got a guy like Khabby in the 12th round.... He went in the FOURTH round in my pool lol (12 teams)...

I think that picking Jonsson so early wasnt a good choice.... Hes good but wont put up that many points.

I like your other picks though (timmonen always good for a healthy 35-40 points).

Looks like a pretty solid team..I agree about Jonsson tho. Playing on a team with Ninnima, Hamrlik and Aucoin I don`t think he`ll get too many points.

I forgot my Yearbook that I was just going through and such looking at possible picks, so basically, I had to go from memory and scribble down like 180 names of players.

Khabby I was pleased with, I think I got him so late just due to the abundance of solid tenders in the league....and I was the 4th guy to pick a tender....Brodeur, Hasek and Turco went ahead of him.


Now I'm REALLY hoping that Minny figures out that they need Gabby.....if they sign him, I think I've done pretty damn good.

Unlike all but maybe 1 or 2 of the guys in the draft, I basically live, breathe, eat and sleep hockey.

Hell, I even try and incorporate hockey into my papers at school, and I'm 4th year History Major.....go figure.
