Just compiled a list here of interesting players available, whether Devils are interested is another ordeal in itself,

Any real surprises? Amazing that there really is a lot of talent out there, but hard to give up someone on our roster for a lot of these guys. Most have serious baggage, which is why they are on the list.

I think Giroux or Bicek may be taken, and when one of them goes you can take another off the list. Maybe Lou knows somebody will take Juri early [because they have talked] and then he'll take back Ray. Maxim may also go if somebody rereads his Jr. evaluations.

Therian is a pretty good player and Flyers prob.pay him too much but somebody like the rag$ may take him.

Yea CuJo is probably the biggest name out there, with the least baggage. Would love to see a guy like Bure come along, but last I heard his career was in jeopardy with knee injuries. Fluery also has tons of talent, but of course is not a team player and has alcohol problems. Lou didn't want him 2 years ago, he def. wouldn't want him now. Maybe C. Lemieux might spark some interest. We'll see.
