I dont know if the goals are all kippers fault though guys. gruntsplatter 10-01-2003, 07:19 PM It's almost never ALL the goalies fault, but they scored 3 goals quick, and two came within 25 seconds of each other. I just mean Mikka hasn't really done anything that I've read about in the pre-season to really redeem himself. He's in a position where he needs to be great to keep his job and he's not been doing it from the sound of things. I like Kipper, but I think the writing is on the wall, that of the two he seems to be the one that is not doing what he needs to do or at least not atthe level he needs to do it. Toskala has less to prove in my mind to get the back up job, and yet seems to have been playing better. Kipper needs to prove he deserves to keep it, Toskala has already shown he deserves the chance. According to the broadcasters both Toskala and Kiprusoff have to pass through waivers to be sent to the minors so SJ may keep 3 goalies on the squad to start the season.
