I was just reading the article on Reid and the fact that he was disappointed, but keeping his head high and focused on making it back to the NHL.

I'm hoping that Reid stays down in the AHL for about 1/3 the season, then makes it back up to the Canucks.

But the problem is, I'm not sure where he could play. I think playing him on a fourth line would be a waste of his talent -- difficult playing with guys who can't finish (May, Ruutu, Langdon, et al).

I think, though, a trade may need to be made to free up a 3rd line roster spot for Reid to be called back up.

Not sure what will happen, but I'd like to see more of REID.

I think you are forgetting about injuries. They are bound to come up sometime. I'm sure Reid will be the first guy called up when it happens.

i agree, reid will likely be the first one called up, as long as he plays well for the moose ofcourse.

plus hes got a great attitude, things will work out one way or another for him. or so i hope anyway.

Exactly, no need to throw away depth because you have it. I'd like to see the Nucks continue to rotate guys into the lineup from Manitoba as a reward for good play as they've done the last couple of years.

We can almost count on Lindgren missing 20 games to injury and I doubt the team can stay as consistently healthy as they have the past couple of years. Quality depth is a good problem to have.
