I know it will be easy to pick at these players and say "they were traded for the other player" but it just kind of popped into my head and I thought I'd get some feedback on what might have been
Remember it's 3 OR 4 years ago so they'd be younger
1ST LINE : J. Leclair - P.Turgeon - R.Zednik
2ND LINE : M.Rucinksy - S.Koivu - M.Recchi
3RD LINE : T.Linden - K.Muller - V.Damphousse
4TH LINE : D.Tucker - S.Corson - O.Petrov
Defense : M.Schneider - E.Desjardins
S.Souray - C.Chelios
V.Malakhov - C.Ludwig
Goalies : Patrick Roy - J.Hackett
I'd love to see which players you all think I forgot about, I am sure there's a few . And what do you think this team would have accomplished 4 years ago if it were real ?

Ahh it`s sick what our team could`ve been :rant: and with all those draft picks houle blew in the 1st round, chouinard, higgins, Ryan etc etc we coulda had a great team. I`d get rid of Malakhov and put Markov in and also Zednik wouldn`t be on the roster since reechi got traded for Zubrus and Zubrus for Zed....but like you said it just popped into your head so it`s not a big deal.

Actually, I didn't put Markov because I wasn't sure how long He's been in the NHL....I thought he played his first NHL season 2 years ago ...and yeah , I know Zednik ... Linden too and Malakhov for Souray , come to think of it...****turgeon for corson**** as well...omg Houle what were you thinking?

Most of them are over paid, Consider this Leclair is Paid over $7 M for his bad back, Turgeon is Waiver material now with Over $5 M billing on him, And don't count guys we have now in our lineup because I love Most of the guys we have in our lineup other then Briseboise, Audette, Dackell, and guys like Dykhuis and Traverse were cut from roster anyways who I hate dearl.
My approach is to look at new beginning and how we have been Lucky to get such a talented groupe of prospect since we started rebuilding which is from year 2000, think how many teams want to get their hands on Komisarek.

Take a closer look at the thread-opening post: "3 or 4 years ago". Leclair and Turgeon were in way better shape than they are right now...

I say give him a break and give out constructive criticism. Or better yet, come up with a realistic line-up.

I just thought it could be fun to look at all the HABS in the league and put a team together to see how strong it could have been
