Am I the only one who thinks that Survivor could take a hit in it's audience after what happened in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast?
Think about it, if you were a fan of the show but were one of the unfortunate ones to get stuck in New Orleans and had to put up with such unimaginable conditions for a good part of a week and found yourself watching a bunch of yuppies and attention seeking idiots pretending to be survivors when they are far from that and are in conditions that are so trival when compared to what they themselves went through? How could you not be turned off to this?
It must be like veterans of D-Day in WWII watching a bunch of weekend warriors playing paintball. Seriously.
And the for the fans of Survivor who were not caught in the disaster but watched people fighting for their lives in just about everyway and in alot of cases losing that fight that gained your admiration for the courage and strength of these poor souls.
For you have seen the people of New Orleans facing such horrible conditions that most of us couldn't even fathom and in sense have become the real survivors in the true sense of the word, doesn't this now make Survivor the joke of a show it has always been?
