Mr Brownstone 10-05-2003, 07:05 PM As much as I agree buffalowing, let's not talk about Heatley and charges here. We need to focus on Snyder. 24 years old, up and coming and didn't deserve this. A tragedy that could have been easily prevented. It's a true shame and another blow to hockey to end a painful offseason. Now the question becomes, do the Thrashers play Thursday in honor of Snyder or is the game postponed? lecherous 10-05-2003, 07:13 PM Now the question becomes, do the Thrashers play Thursday in honor of Snyder or is the game postponed? They have to play. Not playing will solve absolutely nothing. I understand that the players will be shaken and mourning, but when does it really end? If they don't play in 3 days, I don't see how they're ever going to be able to. (P.S - Not meaning to sound harsh, just trying to be a realist) KillToronto 10-05-2003, 07:30 PM Oh my God. Terrible news. I feel really bad for Snyder's family and Heatley as well. Just goes to show what can happen when young guys have fast cars, etc. Mr Brownstone 10-05-2003, 07:45 PM They have to play. (P.S - Not meaning to sound harsh, just trying to be a realist) I understand, but looking at the time of his passing, the funeral will be in Elmira ONT either Thursday or Friday most likely. Atlanta's home opener is Thursday night at 7:30 against CBJ. I highly doubt players will want to play if the funeral is Thursday. JoeSabre 10-05-2003, 08:17 PM I think the best we can do for now is offer our condolences to Dan's family. I think it means something to the family that fans from around the league care. | ||
