Thoughts on Andrews powerrankings?

I assume it's about the best teams in general, combining both season and playoffs, in which case I agree. I don't agree with some of the reasoning though, but it looks accurate IMO.

Pretty good but IMO detroit should have slipped further down because of the forward depth which over the two last years has gone from almost amazing to decent.

The rankings look good to me. Very similar to my own.

Detroit's actual forward depth is good. They are lacking a top line center.

Me beef is that the creator mentioned that the Avs Defense has some questionmark regarding depth, yet he feels the Stars D is perfect. IMO both defenses are about on par..

I didn't look at the comments too closely. Both defenses are close though I would give the edge to Colorado. Perhaps what the author was saying is that 1-5 Colorado is set, but after that they have nothing on defense. The Stars do have 6th, 7th & 8th d-men that know their role on the team.
