Tootoo or Torres?

Which one of these two agitators is gonna make the most impact for their team?

Torres will have the better hands. Tootoo has a lot of heart, but will get manhandled by many of the bigger guys.

Tootoo , I think he's gonna be the next Claude Lemieux . He's gonna be hated by so many player's this year and lots of fans . I can't wait until Tootoo takes a run at Bertuzzi . :yo:

I gotta go with Torres. Both can make the NHL based on their physical game alon, but Raffi has better offensive ability.

Hate to go with the Greaser, but Raffi Torres is simply a better player.

I have to go with Tootoo it is close but i think Tootoo has more developing left than Torres even though Torres is also young.

Oops. I just realized what you are referring too. It was not a reference to his brother, conciously at least. I would have used it in reference to any player attacking Bertuzzi who is outweighed by 50 lbs.
Much of Bertuzzi's goal scoring ability can be attributed to his size and the inability of defenders to stop him when he goes to the net. It would have to be a very well timed hit by anyone to knock him off balance.
A fight between the two is another matter entirely.

yeah, i dont know what milbury was thinking. niinimaa is a nice model car, but he has ALOT of miles on him(which have taken a toll). and from what ive seen so far of torres, hes gonna be a consistent 15-20 goal 40-50 point guy with desire (who knows, with enough ice time he just might live up to the 5th overall tag in the future.)

I think Torres will be a lot closer to Clark than Tootoo. I'm thinking Tootoo will be an energy guy with checking ability like Kris Draper.

Torres and Tootoo are rookies playing the whole season instead of just a few games, and I'm not taking anything away from Tootoo because he's great for his size, but Torres has really fit in greatly with the Oil! He has already started racking up points and is a physical force on the ice.

Torres has better scoring potential. Tootoo, I like him a lot, but I'm not sure he'll be more than a Rob Dimaio type of player.

While I agree with your pick, taking a player based on where he is picked is silly. I hope you based your opinion on more than his draft position, becuase by your standards, Brent Krahn is better than Ray Emery.

Watching the 'buzzsaw' play, formed my opinion. Just using his position in the draft as an added bit of info.
Nothing against Tootoo, but I think Torres will have more impact. (especially on opposing players) :D

I completely agree with your assessment. Just had to pick on somebody, and you were the only option at the time. :p Take it......as a complement.

i could name more than a few below average, weak, heartless, overall bad hockey players who have a cup ring thanks to either detroit or colorado.
(but i wont cause im too lazy tonite)

just because you have a cup ring doesnt mean you won it yourself or that you deserve it. it could simply be that someone else won it for you.
