What do you guys see as the opening night line up?????
Also what do you guys thing the last game of the season line up is????

Opening Night
As KDP had:
Sammy Thornton Murray
Axelsson Rolston Knuble
Huml Green McCarthy

Those lines really agitate me as somebody said that is the worst 2nd line in hockey.....what is Huml doing on a line with those guys and why is a fighter on our 3rd line????? Also unless they do with Bergeron what they did with Thornton not having him on the top 2 lines hurts his developement so I only see him around for the 10 games......these lines make no sense to me here is what I'll be hoping for:

Knuble Thornton Murray
Rolston Bergeron Samsonov
Axelsson Green Huml
Samuelsson Grosek McCarthy

I dunno it just looks alot more balanced Huml is still on a checking line but it has more talent

Year End:
if Taz does this how many players that start with the Bruins finish with them 1-3 4-6 6-9 :joker: ??????

I just want to see year end more less to see if people think Bergeron sticks around and if Huml and Hilbert find themselves in the line up......and does anybody think Raycroft wins the starters job??????

PS I think this year is the most exciting year as a Bruins since Neely played ...........there is depth and the kids are not knocking on the door anymore they are pushing to get in....RUmpy

These lines arent bad at all...Feel Samuelsson will be better off in Prov

Knuble-Thornton-Murray
Sam-Bergeron-Rolston
Axlesson-Green-Huml
Grosek-Stock-McCarthy

*our third line doesn't seem Strong (gritty at all)
Lapointe will be back soon though

I guess we will see if the chem works in the first few games.....

Knuble-Thornton-Murray
Samsonov-Rolston-Axelsson (R and A should stay together)
Bergeron-Green-Huml
Grosek-Stock-McCarthy

Where do Lapointe and Zams fit in???

Donato and Samuelsson to Providence. Hilbert stays in Prov., or is maybe traded...

Grosek possibly sent down as well...Zams can take his place on the fourth line???

I don't want to see Donato on this team. I would rather have Wensink back.

IMO if Huml isn't on one of the top 2 lines, which he hasn't earned BTW, he should be back in Providence. Samuelsson is a much better fit on the 3rd than Huml.

I'd go with;

Sammy Joe Murray
Rolston Bergeron Knuble
Axe Greeen Samuelsson
Grosek Stock McCarthy

Love the Lineup Sarge, That's the exact lineup I'd go with on opening night. Rollie on LW, Green as a checking line center, Sammy Joe and Muzz form a great line and I think we'll get some scoring out of the second line as well.

Murray-Thornton-Knuble
Sammy-Rolston-Huml
Axe-Green-Samuellson
Grosek-Bergeron-McCarthy

I think this seems the most realistic as there have been no rumblings of Rolston moving to wing as of yet am I correct? However, if he does, Bergeron will move up to second line and Stock to fourth.

Gonna be a tough call when Lapointe and Zams come back though.

T-Mac,

I like those lines A LOT! Your lines with the full squad, that is.

Your 3rd and 4th lines look very good!

Only question, IMHO is how you split the top 2 line talent:

Thornton- Knuble- Murray
Rolston- Sammy- Lapointe

OR...

Thornton- Sammy- Knuble
Rolston- Lapointe- Murray

OR...

Thornton- Lapointe- Knuble
Rolston- Sammy- Murray

Later
Rolston

I'd substitute Stock for Grosek.
Face it, opening night isn't complete unless Stock is playing! :D

Those are nearly my exact lines on ESPN Hockey. Just replace Bergeron with Stock. The second line is viscious in the game, they almost always carry the play in the offensive zone. Of course that is just a video game.

Why in God's name is Huml still on the third line?

Here's my "stab"

Murray-Joe-Knuble
Sammy-Bergeron-Rolston
Axe-Green-Grosek
Sammy 2-Stock-McCarthy.

The current lines seem to have everyone "bumped up" a line for some reason.

opening night.....without zams and lapointe.

well opening night i see

thonton murray knuble
begeron rolston sammy
green axelsson mcarthy
stock grosek huml

once the injuries are over. i dont know if im alone but i see knuble falling, dont get me wrong i love the guy, but i think he played over his head last year. plus i think he could add alot to our 3rd line

thornton murray mcarthy - anyone can play with joe. plus big mac put up #'s with fluery and york

rolston sammy lapointe - this line has everything, i see marty having a big year with these 2 offencive guys

green axe knuble - great defenceand all could possibly have 20g's

donato grosek zamuner - sorry stock, but this years team has to much depth, donato played well last year for the blueshirts

just my opinion here, i must say it, i dont know about you guys but it was damm tough to think up some lines for this team, i feel good this year because there is so much depth on the team, plus alot of youth that can and might step up to replace an underacheiver.

thanks for your time

Ive been reading your guys' thought for awhile.

IF there a toss up on second line the nod SHOULD goto Axe.

like the thought:

Sammy-Rollie-Axe

axe would acheive 20 there... mt guess is all. I think Lapointe although and expensive 3rd liner as it is has done WAY less for the B's the Axe has... Axe getting the puck for Sammy to set up Rolston sounds like a good idea to me.

My opinion is that Lapointe should play on the second line, because with Samsonov and Rolston, he should see alot of rebounds in close from all of the shots that will be generated. Also, your second line could be pushed around alot physically IMO.
