Hopefully he plays good and shows that he is an NHL player. He looked great in the practise games before the world championships and IMO looked like one of the best wingers behind Selänne but still didn't make the team. Slowe 10-07-2003, 05:38 AM I don't know about lines, but it's quite likely that Nieminen sees fourth line duty. Radulov and Vorobiev both made the team and that makes it pretty crowded for him. He played well, and Sutter likes to juggle lines quite a bit. I'm sure he'll see third line duty, but unfortunately I don't think we'll use him like he should be. Korolev is still on the team and dear god let it be him, but Smith already paid him 1.7 mil to play in the AHL last year. He seems to be balking at doing it again. It's certain that none of the rookies will be cut. Strudwick and Moen have made it as our two "tough guys." That leaves Vandy as an odd man out.
