Today they acquired Bryan Kauk(another brandon boy), which is kind of cool, but gives them like 20 forwards with still no real proven forward. Im not overly worried as McCrimmon is one hell of a GM, but what is he doing? What do you see coming? Nichol & a Dman for a good overaged scorer? a couple young forwards for an older forward. Im thinking that hes going to swing a deal for an overager just for the simple fact we can still use one, and im thinking Nichol is gone because he has a little value on the trade market..
any other ideas?

I don't mind us having a 20 win season, if we are building for next year. I'd hate to see us trade away some talent for an overager b/c it'll only gain us a few wins. I'd trade Nichol b/c he's not the future. Not too sure about Hewit, know nothing about kauk

Well we certainly arent looking for a repeat trip to the league finals this year....I would like to see us make playoffs and dont think that is out of the question yet...I dont mind him picking up Kauk...he played well with dittmer and derlago in the past...we need scoring badly...also need to start shooting the puck a bit....its not helping that we are being outshot 20-5 in most first periods this year.
Plante is going to need to be a stud for us to have a hope this year.
