Plante is incredible....the Wheat Kings are BRUTAL this year. very weak year for the team....trades are on the way from what I hear.....will be interesting to see who we deal for or deal away.
also we must be looking for an overage forward at somepoint here. and when are we cutting some of these rookies to get to a real playing number.

I don't want to see us trade away too much b/c quite frankly, we're not going to be a good team this season unless we get 4 top forwards! In a perfect world, get rid of sandell and bring in an impact European, get rid of Hewitt and bring in a couple good overagers. I'd also get rid of Topilko and Dittmer.....

I think dittmer is afriad to get his hair messy and wouldnt mind losing him either, I think maybe we need to start realizing there are players outside Brandon that can play in this league and stop drafting and trading for homegrown players because obviously this is what happens when u have a team nearly entirely made up of homegrown.

hewitt is useless...i cant believe mccrimmon dealt for him what a joke.

i dont mind sandell at least he looks to always try hard....wouldnt mind losing topilko, I assume we will trade nichol...who wont bring much back...we really dont have a ton to trade...on a good note ive been impressed by keith aulie so far.

I agree that this homegrown kick has gone a little far, especially when they let on of the brightest Brandon talents, Ryan White, go to the Hitmen, what was he, 69th in the draft?
Moore has done quite well this year, 3 goals already, Leblanc looks strong, Reaves runs guys over. Lenoski has been jumping into the play quite well, and have you seen Day's positive +/- these last 2 games!!!!

I think that Clark has a chance to be a solid player...yea not getting ryan white kills especially now....I think that we will end up trading riley day to a contender either soon or maybe not till the trade deadline...im a big fan of reaves as he absolutely crushes people...big fan of lenoski as well....I am not to sure who exactly we can trade at this point....im guessing we just trade a few people trying to get good prospects or top draft picks.

in my opinion nichol will be gone in less than a month to a team that needs a veteran goalie to start some games.. i just dont think hes got that much value tho. he has had pretty solid numbers.. but i doubt you can get a first line forward for him. I think mccrimmon may be trying ti re-build for next year maybe? Think of how good this team has the POTENTIAL to be.. and i dont think there is any way that dittmer gets traded.

i also think mccrimmon needs to fire himself as head coach. yes he did a great job when his team was full of all-stars.. but now that hes got a young group that needs some development, its time to bring in a real coach

I don't know much about the Brandon overager/european situation, but when Lauris Darzins recovers from his shoulder injury, Kelowna will have 3 Europeans on their roster. It will come down to a choice between Raffl and Darzins, but I expect Darzins will go b/c he is a 20 year old. It wouldn't take much to get him seeing as th Rockets have to offload him. It's a shame - Darzins is a very talented player.

brandon already has two euros
