Does LA have any interest in Detroits Defencemen? Make an offer and lets see. I like C Mike Cammalleri, C Sean Avery or picks in a deal personally.

Should I presume that Lidstrom is basically untouchable?

palffy is the only guy in our top 5 that's left in our team. we trade him away and we're throwing away any light at the end of the tunnel. so leaving him out, we can maybe get zetterberg and schneider... right?

You presume correctly.

Detroit has no other d-men that I'd be interested in AND would fit into what the Kings would be looking for (e.g. would love to have Hatcher but not at his contract).

how bout avery, kutsnetsov, tambelini, and checkmanek for schneider...hahaha...

actually the more i look at it...the more it look like an even trade...schneider pretty much kept our PP alive single-handedly when he was here

our PP isn't suffering right now. vishnovsky is having a sick goal streak, so losing schneider, at the moment, doesn't look so bad. not to mention, corvo has been great and modry is doing pretty well too. hardly an even trade if u consider detroit traded all that for a #5 defenseman on their team. sure, i would love for him to be on our team, but there is no way i'd give up wat they gave us to get him back. at most, a 2nd round pick and a roster 3rd/4th liner.

and if possible, kuzneztov, just so we can get rid of him. but that will be more of a favor towards us, then them

Jiri Fischer? No interest?

Jiri Fischer? No interest?

I would love to have him. He's a good physical d-man and he's only 23. But why would Detroit trade him? I was under the impression that he was trying to move one of those veteran contracts - Lidstrom, Hatcher, Dandenault, Chelios, Woolley or Scheinder. Lidstrom is off limits, Hatcher was just signed (so why would they trade him) and the other 4 I'm not interested in.
