What did the lines look like out there?

My guess is that the fourth line consisted of Ott, Miettinen and DiMaio judging by the icetime. I also heard that Lehtinen played with Modano. Too bad Miettinen got so little icetime though... How did he look out there?

Miettinen had at least 2 shots (that I counted), and he made an awesome play at one point where he cut toward the net and had a nice chance for a score.

He seemed to play limited time. Tippett may have been a little nervous about the game.

The fourth line kept changing. After Lehtinen went out (bruised shoulder), someone different was always playing on the 4th line. DiMaio and Ott were always there, though, and DiMaio had a great shot at one point.

According to NHL.com he had at least one wrister and one slapper.

I think he will get more icetime now that Lehtinen is out. For how long is Lehtinen injured?

Lehtinen might not even miss a game. It seemed like a stinger to his shoulder, and he's day-to-day.

I think Miettinen will get more and more ice time naturally, as games go on. Tippett, IMO, tends to get nervous in big games and overplays his top guys.

Young also seemed to get pretty little ice time, below 10 minutes in my recollection. Something tells me that one of the top 9 forwards (or a top 6 d-man) on his way out to make more room for youngsters.

Not me, if they win a lot of games. I think they're perfectly content to have a top forward or two play limited ice time this season -- they want the Cup.

Young didn't seem to be played that much, but he was definitely solid while he was in there. I just think that someone is going to get the short end of the stick every game, and next game it will be someone else.
