Canucks sign Mike KeaneSedinFan* 10-08-2003, 10:57 AM 1 year deal. Edler Statesman* 10-08-2003, 11:03 AM source? Team 1040? Its not on TSN yet and I don't get 1040 out in the Kootenays MiketheCurler 10-08-2003, 11:05 AM There was an article in the Province newspaper today saying he was signed to a one year deal, but it didn't give any information about the contract other than it is a one-way deal. So he won't be going to play in Manitoba at all. Burke's Evil Spirit 10-08-2003, 12:15 PM Uh, NHLPA.com lists is 2003/2004 salary as $2 million...but I'm guessing this is the contract Colorado bought out? It lists him as a member of the Avalanche, I'm guessing it just hasn't been updated yet. Kickassguy 10-08-2003, 12:22 PM Team1040 reports peg him as signing for $500k. maruk14 10-08-2003, 12:27 PM Team1040 reports peg him as signing for $500k. Yeah, probably. I dont see a team picking him up but you never know. Edler Statesman* 10-08-2003, 04:01 PM I'd sticky this Big_Mac 10-08-2003, 04:58 PM Great Move by the 'Nucks. He'll impact on the ice but he'll be a major factor in the dressing room Waveburner 10-08-2003, 05:42 PM At 500K, Keane is the perfect replacement for the "void" left by Klatt/Baron. He had a solid preseason, and I can see him getting about 40 games or so, and probably getting in some playoff games as well. Very solid move by Burke :) | ||
