Me and my friend are each putting up 25 bucks to play sportsaction oddset. If you predict all the games correctly then the amount you bet mulitiplied by the odds of the games equals your prize money. The teams have to win by more then 3 points else it doesn't count.

So if we predict these 4 games correctly we get 479.50$

Atlanta over New Orleans(away game)
Cincinatti over Tenessee(away game)
NE over Denver(away game)
Seattle ovr Houston(home game)

So what do you guys think are chances of of raking in the doh Sunday evening?

the middle 2 games are a toss up but that's good odds to win just 4 games

Well, I didn't like your picks, but you would have gotten better odds had you put that $50 on a Pro-Line Sports Select ticket. Those four games would have paid $572...

Dude I got screwed on the same game I played Pools on Proline & got all of them right except for the Pats Since Seattle is killing the Texans & the Colts should win tomorrow it probably cost me thousands of dollars

My Sports Select tickets won me some serious cash today:

Ticket #1 ($9 bet):
ATL/NO - tie game (game decided by 3 points or less is a tie)
Seattle win
Baltimore win
San Diego win
Cincinatti win
Kansas City win

for a total of $441.04.

Ticket #2 ($3 bet):
Jacksonville win
Cincinatti win
San Diego win
Carolina/Detroit - tie game
Seattle win (not over yet but almost)

for a total of $132.99

And I had a $95 win on my hockey Sports Select ticket from last night! Good weekend...

Gold, Jerry! That's gold! :yo:

I don't think you'll be able to get a look at the odds from previous days, but here's the site anyways. I would have thought you would have heard of this if you're living in BC? I've got a buddy in VanCity who plays it all the time. Is this the first you've heard of it?

Nope I have not actually. I'm only 17 though....... :sarcasm:. Would I just fill it out at my local Shell station just like Sportsaction Oddset?

I doubt it. There will probably be over a hundred winners this week, pending a colts win. I had New Englend and Miami wrong.

There's anywhere from $300,000 to $400,000 in the pot per week so if there were 100 winners that's still $3-4000 each

You're right, I just checked. BC doesn't fall under the WCLC. My buddy must be playing the same game as you then in Vancouver. He's from Alberta/Saskatchewan so it's probably just habit to call it "Sport-Select". Too bad! But I'm glad to see we're getting better odds than you guys! :D

Well there were 447 winners, each getting 671.30$. It would suck to finally win and then get that kind of pot!

Yeah that would suck. What sucks is a $80 investment would net over $10,000 but there's no way I would spend $80 on the pool. Maybe $20 but I don't think I would have used it on N.E. last weekend

Let's keep this or another thread going so we can discuss what we're betting the upcoming weekend

I don't think that if you bet more on the pools, the pot increases? (if that is what your saying?) I havn't looked into it much because I doubt I'd ever put more than the mandatory 5$ on it. I just thought say if you put 80 down, then for 4 games you can pick both teams, which guarentee's you win those games?

Also, anyone else pissed that they changed the "props" payout this year? I was really looking forward to playing that again this year. I got into it late last year and won 4 of the last 5 weeks and now with the odds based payout (instead of the point spread system) it is barely worth playing. I have only played twice, one once but it was only 80$.

On Pro-line I'd do it, but I'm sure you wouldn't beat the spread on the Cinnci game...

Sorry i meant that if you spend $10, $20 $40 or $80 you get more plays into the pool. $10-2 picks $20-4 picks $40-8 picks $80-16 picks. That is part of the box option which includes the free picks. I hate the system they have now for Props I did win 2 weeks ago on it but it paid only $70.Last week the Seahawks game going over in the 1st half cost me $60. I miss the pro picks with the QB's & RB's
