Finally... Opening night

I wasn't planning on being there until a co-worker offered up some free tickets so I'll be up in section 411 tonite. This game is really hard for me too because I lived in NC for 3 yrs and started to really get behind the Hurricanes the last yr before I left (which was their dismal last season). I look forward to seeing Horton vs Staal in the rematch from the OHL playoffs.

AHH, I have to work till 9 then go to hockey for 9:30. That leaves me 1/2 an hour of Panthers hockey! O well, its better then none! Crush those Canes, crush em good!

Woohoo!! October 9 is finally here!! I still don't know whether I can go tonight or not, but either way, I'll be watching Panthers hockey!!

not only am i on the left coast, but i dont have center ice (or cable for that matter). i had to listen on nhl.com game radio. at least i was off work and got to listen.

after the new year when i get some vacation time i may fly to my mothers and try and catch a game since they dont come to socal again this season.

actually i dont mind the kings at all. shame what theyve gone through with the injuries, sorry for thier fans but it doesnt seem to be letting up either.

andy murray is a good coach, and they play a good, fun style to watch. similar to keenan...attacking the puck and going up-tempo all the time. although the preseason game at the mgm grand i had to wish that they died and fell through the ice since they were playing the avs (my second favorite, and no, not from 96...when they play the panthers they are hated enemies LOL).

San Antonio won their opener against Utah 4-2.
