Miller

Does anyone think the Sabres are playing him early and often to see if he can handle the job?

If not, he gets sent to Rochester and Biron starts, with Noronen backing up.

If he does, then I think Biron gets dealt and the Sabres keep Noronen.

I think the front office is in a pickle with Noronen. They don't trust him as a starter, know they won't get much for him and know he could come back to haunt them if he gets dealt.

With Biron, I don't think the Sabres expect much improvement, but see him as a decent starter. However, they also think they might be able to get something for him.

I thought Miller played very good against Philly and I think he deserves the start against the Isles based on his performance. If he gets hot, I think Biron will be dealt.

I agree. Either Biron plays or he is moved. They wont allow him to sit the bench with that salary, so Noronen makes sense as backup.

I think that Miller can handle the job as #1.

I thought miller played great last night , he gave up 2 pp goals last night that were not his fault and stopped lots of pha odd man chances. He is going to be good the only issue is can he handle the workload or will he tire in the second half of the season....

yeah miller was outstanding, im just worried if he plays as well as he did but they still lose like that again hes gonna get sent down and Im not quite sure that should happen. Maybe he and Biron working together could prove good but I want to see more of miller before we put Biron in. Plus last night the defense was a little iffy on what to do, they didnt know if they should play more of a defense minded game or open it up more, they'll get on the same page for next game im sure though.

Hmm.. our goaltender plays well and we still lose.. I guess goaltending isn't the *big* problem with this team as so many people assume it to be.. oh but I'm sure if Biron or Noronen had been in net last night.. someone would have been like.. "Oh my god he can never make the clutch save.. I don't care that he only allowed those 2 impossible shots in but he didn't make that save at the right time.. he really cost us.. he's so inconsistent".. yadda yadda.. I've seen it before..

Goaltending... is one of the bright spots of this team.. we are lucky to be in such a position.. having 3 guys fight it out is great..

Miller played well.. but again no offense=no win..

Biron has been spectacular before like Miller was last night, its just Biron's consitency that makes people get on him, he's like a rollercoaster plays 1 or 2 good games gets everyone excited then loses the next 5 and nobody likes to get their hopes and emotions up like that and then have the bottom fall out. The same can be said with Noronen, Miller hasnt had the opportunity yet so thats why most people support him and hope that he can win and stop pucks consistently. Granted, the team infront needs to play with heart and determination every game.
