He is a good fighter and all,Both the Coach,GM Lorne Molleken and the Owner Jack Broadsky like tough guys, but is this the type of player that they want as a 20yr old. The Blades still have a overage spot to fill. Hopefully Lorne Molleken can choose a 20 yr old that will help the team on defence, which is not very strong but has done the job.

He can be a little bit of a clown at times (with all his showboating after his fights) but as a whole he is a good fighter and helps fill a role for the Blades and put people into the seats. I'd take him on my team.

Sask Fan are you a season ticket holder? have you gone to many games? Just incase you haven't I will fill you in, our defence isn't that bad, it has improved greatly and I wish all the couch potatoe blades fans(I am not calling you this) would get off this whole defence crap lorne has brought in some great D players and they are great. We have one of the best penalty kills in the league and we wouldn't have that if we didn't have great defence. So everyone start comming out to games and see for your selves we have won 8 in a row and we are firing on all cylinders.

I am not a Season Ticket Holder but I did buy an 18 game flex Pack and I have went to all of the home games except the Kelowna game. The defense has been playing great and has helped the team get the now 9 game winning streak, yes the addition of Cole and Panchyson have signifigantly helped, I know that we have a very good defensive blueline, but on occasion they do have a bad game once in a while. Tuesday Verses Calgary will be a good test and I will be their to see the game. Are you the Donald Trump that posts on WHLfans.ca also? I post under the name GoBladesGo BLEED BLUE on WHLfans.ca

No, I am not, Your rite tuesday will be a good test and so will Fridays game in MJ I hope to go to that one in MJ. I think the best thing Lorne did was get rid of Flatt, he took to many penalties. I wonder when Flatt comes to town if he will try to fight Tidball or Haw, for kick? anyways thou I think we have made great changes on D and they seem to be working a 20 D-man would finish the puzzle.

Thats something that bothered me alot, I saw him fight alot in the Q, and after his fights, even the ones he loses he does the 'dusting hands' thing, or the championship belt thing.

The Blades need a guy like Tidball to keep others from taking liberties with Devin, Wacey and friends. He is what he is and has been doing a good job so far.

Also the D has really come together with the additions of Cole and Panchyson. I still don't understand why Koontenay gave up on Panchyson so soon.

Its been interesting to see the ineffectiveness of Flatt when he doesn't have Mike Green beside him for 20 minutes a game.

The Blades have lost their toughness and are not really physical and are getting manhandled by the stronger teams(Moose Jaw,Medicine Hat) I am not sure that Brandon Tidball was the type of player that the Blades wanted to keep, because he was an enforcer but was more of a goon and was kept under a watchful eye of the refferee,I think the reason why he was traded because,he probably would not get much more ice time than he does in a regualar season game. Now by the sounds of things he has brought a new dimension of hockey to Swift Current and their fans. The team situation of the Saskatoon Blades has gone from bad to worse IMO.

He's a good fighter, but Kassian or Gauthier would kick his ***.

Kassian fought Tidball to a draw earlier this season. Although I agree Kassian would beat him more times than not. I don't agree about Gauthier however...

I think he's a good fighter, but in the wrong division. If you want to have a good, throw him in the U.S. division where at least he'll have people to dance with. It's easy to be a goon in a division where there is no competition. But, to that extent, he takes alot of dumb penalties trying to fight people that don't want to fight him....gotta be frustrating.
