Hopefully we bounce back well against a crappy team. Our D is struggling and injured, but Miami has no offense at all, so we should be fine. They have a good defense, but we have a good offense and I think it'll all cancel out and the Pats will get back over .500

How are the Dolphins a crappy team?? And I wouldn't also say they have no offense, we have no passing game but have proven we can run the ball so I wouldn't say we have so offense at all.

Were not a good team...yet, but we most certainly not a crappy team this year either.

Gus Ferrotte gave himself a concussion by hitting his head against a wall after a TD. That man is in charge of your offense.

You have that man at the head of your offense.

So Gus alone makes a crappy team? I have seen plenty of good teams with horrible QB's, this is nothing new.

Today is a banner day for White People everywhere. Heath Evans for the Pats is ripping it up, and the Dolphins have the Great White Hope Wes Welker doing everything for them(he really should be starting QB, that would make it a great offense).

Eli is arguably the biggest running threat in the National Football League at the quarterback position.

In other news, the Giants recievers have just not shown up to play today and Minnesota's defensive line has done a terrific job stuffing the run and knocking down passes.

The Miami Defense was awesome for much of the first half and offensively they could have had 3 scores in the first half (3 Red Zone opportunities for Miami).

They only managed one TD though and the last drive resulted in a strange fumble which led to the first drive were Brady got the Pats going and which eventually got them on the board. I'm not sure if Miami can keep this up, they should be at least a few more points up after all the work in the first half.

Yea, you can find misleading statistics relating to all sorts of issues. Now actually watching the games to judge performances takes just a slight bit more. That being said, the Giants offense looks pitifull at the moment. The offensive line cant keep allowing defensive lineman to bat down passes, Eli has to be more accurate with his reads and throws, the recievers actually have to catch the football when it hits them in the hands, and Hufnagel needs to open up this offense. Terrible performance all-around. And has anyone noticed that after being one of the least penalized lineman on the Jets last season, Kareem McKenzie has drawn a host of yellow flags each week with the Gmen?

What is sad is that the Vikes Offenses is doing everything in it's power to lose the game, the Giants Special Teams and Offense just won't let them.

This isn't a game that the Vikes will have won, this is a game that the Giants will have lost.

Kudos to Jon Gruden for the gusty call, kudos to Chris Simms for showing some intangibles for the very first time. A bit of a throwback performance from Mike Alstott, another excellent game from Galloway, and a sparkling first half from Simeon Rice.

As much as I've criticized, its these kind of games that can make a career for a quarterback. Not saying that now he's suddenly a NFL star or anything, but he must know now for sure that he can play in the NFL and play well and lead a team, and hopefully he can get some confidence and become more of a leader because of it.

Also, McNabb should just go ahead and get that surgery now. The Eagles aren't going anywhere, and he shouldnt risk making it worse.

ok, somebody please back me up on this; but am I the only one who would thouroughly enjoy the opportunity to rip Tim McGraw's vocal chords out?

No.

Can I just say that that was a very brutal way for the Eagles to lose? Ouch, ouch, and double ouch. :(

Why throw the ball there?

It's 2nd and 7, you've been able to run the ball effectively for the first time all season, and they throw.

I don't get it.

Who cares; go Titans. :(

** NOW ACCEPTING TICKETS FOR EAGLES FANS TO HOP ON THE FLYERS BANDWAGON **

100% right and I'm an Eagles fan. However, while I am an Eagles fan - they're not my favorite Philadelphia team. When you live in Philly and you're not an Eagles fan first and you get laughed at like I do, not many more things are hilarious than listening to Eagles-first fans cry.

As a Flyers fan living pre-Hitchcock and post-Jay Snider, I've come to expect dissapointment while Eagles fans expect that one day this team will actually get the job done because they feel it is deserved. Whereas every season they get what they deserve because Eagles-first fans are so arrogant. While I did think the Eagles would win, if you ask an Eagles fan -- I mean, you're just an absolute idiot to even think about the possibility that they could lose. I was an idiot for thinking that they would only win by 10. These are the same people that pick the Flyers to lose in the first round every year and then when they are still playing in May it's like such a novelty they act like they know everything about the team. I can't wait for it to happen this year when I have everyone coming up to me asking who all these players are that we didn't have in 2004. At least thats what happened the past two seasons and then when they lose I get laughed at.

The Eagles did just about everything they were supposed to do to win. In the past, the Eagles would have done whatever they had to do to win this game. When it was 20-7 it was shutdown time, and the game should have ended 20-7 because all night the Cowboys did absolutely nothing to show they were capable of hanging in on offense. All week all you heard is how they won't let happen to them what happened in the first game...and what happened was worse. All you heard was how they were going to do what they had to do, and put the TO situation behind them when it is clear to me that the Eagles need TO more than TO probably needs the Eagles. All you heard was how this team "pushed the red button." I think that was Trotter who said that, which that is fine because the defense has done everything they could -- it's not their fault that the offense goes 3 and out on every series because Reid won't call a run play. You even heard players say that if they lost this game that they were done. Lito Sheppard said that this game was the playoffs.

The Eagles biggest downfall was something they were able to do for the first time all season -- run the ball. Andy Reid gave Brian Westbrook this shiny new contract yet he shows absolutely no faith in him. Lamar Smith is brought in for situations like that (where McNabb threw the pick) and Andy Reid shows no faith in him. The Eagles don't have a reliable running game, they don't have the power running game that helped make this team successful. In the past when they needed a 1st down they gave the ball to Duce Staley or Dorsey Levens and they made it happen. When you gotta keep using Westbrook as your #1 receiver there is a problem. It was a problem before TO was here, and Andy Reid has said many time that if he put Westbrook on wide out the entire game he would probably be the #1 receiver. He knows this is a problem but will refuse to address it because he believes that we can make it happen every week.

Here's what we do know: despite all the trouble, all the talking, running of the mouth, dissing the team, talking about himself, Drew Rosenhaus circus...we not cannot deny that the Eagles are not "better off" without Terrell Owens. The first 6 days of the week he might be a problem but on Sunday he did what he could do to help the team win.

And now McNabb doesn't want to talk about TO. Guess what dude, you lose the way you did that's what going to come up. You can't take your ball and say "I don't want to play anymore." Being QB in Philadelphia is like being the GM of the Red Sox -- you can't hide from questions. At least he didn't say "next question" :biglaugh:

Cowboys fans deserve this -- especially the way the Eagles lost. The Eagles beat up on the division for the past 4 years and all these missed opportunities have finally caught up.

Like I said before, the Eagles always won when they had to, big plays they always did what they had to do to pull a win out of their ***. It's not happening this year and all of a sudden it's like "what now?" If they miss the playoffs, they'll get a favorable schedule but it won't matter when you can't beat the teams in your own division anymore.

I went to bed needing one more pick, a rush of 20 some-odd yards, and McNabb to throw under 22.5 passes.

God bless those CowBoys

I would hardly say its going to be a cake walk...they have the Lions, Broncos, Chiefs and Rams at home and the Giants, Skins and Panthers on the road. IMO, thats pretty tuff.
