I hear that he improve dramaticaly at the and of last year, and I have chek is stat this year and it's pretty good 4 assists in 8 games. can somebody describe me is game this year, is role with Leksand.
what he improve so much in the last year, is it only a question of confidence and playing time ?

thanks guy !!!

Well, last year he wasn't ready. He did not have the confindence during the regular season and obviously Leksand had several defensemen that they believed were better than Jonsson (which is the reason they lent him out to the 2nd-tier league).

This year Jonsson appears to be stronger, he is playing like he did during his junior years... joining the rush .. and moving the puck in high speed.
He is probably already Leksand's #1 defenseman (or #2) and plays on the first pairing with the experienced Christer Olsson.
He gets quality ice-time and can be used in most situations.

He has yet to score a goal but he has been close several times so it is just a matter of time before he scores his first goal of the season.

I have seen 7 of 8 LEksand league games this season and last year I didnīt like Jonsson, but this season, o my god, what a change!

He got confidence and can keep the puck much longer now, and he is very strong. He plays alot, now with Christer Olsson.

He has not scored yet, but he has got several chances.

He will do well in Boston!
