Echoing the comments of my fellow posters, congrats to the Moose for his first victory with his new team, and a shutout to boot. He should enjoy a lot of success with Vancouver, and perhaps will have a chance to repeat his Stanley Cup Playoffs feat with his new club.

My wife is the biggest Hedberg fan and she tuned in to watch the Vancouver game on Center Ice (btw, it sucked that the Pens game was not shown on Center Ice last night). She was probably the only one doing the Moose chant when he made his saves though. Seems like the Canucks fans arent used to, or arent lanning to use the Moose chant.

Good luck to the Moose and good luck to the Canucks, who have now become my wife's 2nd favorite team because of him :)

I'm really happy for Johan.
I think he's a better goalie than he showed the last 2 seasons.
I honestly think his past 2 years are a result of very poor play by any of the given 5 players on the ice in front of him.

I hear ya, I did the same thing. :rant: I have Cloutier, Nabokov, Hedberg and Roloson, with the 1st 3 having games last night. Dressed the 1st 2, Cloutier didn't play and Nabokov lost. Got -1 FP as opposed to 18 (win + SO). Stupid me. :mad:

nice to hear hedberg is doing good. though i sont care for Vancouver (the whole 94 cup thing), i do wish him the best.

I am actually very happy for Hedberg. He is an excellent goaltender and an exciting one at that. I really hope he pushes Cloutier out of the top spot. Hopefully he gets the chance to do so in Vancouver.

What about the 1994 playoffs? I went to every damn home game for that series...sucked how we lost.

Agreed... great to see indeed. I feel Hedberg will get the chance to shine that he would never have had in Pittsburgh for the next few years. Don't get me wrong, their future could be bright, but there present... well... I'll still enjoy watching Marc André & Mario!
