The last thing you should worry about with Horton is him getting pushed around. Horton is and is going to be a key member of this year's team, once he pops the first one (which is always the hardest) you will see his offensive confidence take off. This kid is going to be a fan favorite for a long time in South Florida.

he had a very sweet scoring chance that he waws slow to pull the trigger on and missed. but overall he played a solid game (not as good as his first one, but still solid) Throwing Checks all over the place. hopefully around game 30-40, he'll have learned enough that if he gets another scoring chance like he got today, he buries it instead of waiting too long.

Horton centered the 2nd line last night with Huselius and Novo, Cullen played with Hagman and Samuelsson until the 3rd when Keenan did some tinkering moving Hagman and eventually Messier on the top line in place of Nilsson.

Last night instead of stopping abruptly for an offside, Horton just kept glidding and bolwed over Travis Green! It was great! Green though didnt like it too much :D

A Rookie better start respecting other players in this league and not landing hits way after the whizzle have sounded or his pretty face will get smashed up rather fast. And than he might look like Mike Ricci after the work is done :D

Nobody said he was disrespecting other players, he just plays a physical game.

mike ricci is one ugly mofo, but part of the reason horton was drafted is because he isnt scared of physical stuff, and seems to rather enjoy it.

better pack a lunch, apparently he's a pretty tough kid.

oh yeah, and don't it just kill you that there's no spell check on this thing???

But has Val Bure been injured already? Never heard what happened to him but noticed he wasn't on the game sheet.

Grion problems, shouldn't be too much longer, but you don't want to rush groins.
