Has anyone been watching Theo Fluery play? Be good to hear how he's getting on in Belfast!

I haven't watched him but he has 6 Goals, 18 Assists, and 24Pts in 11 games so he definitely appears to be ripping apart the EIHL.
60PIM in those 11 games as well so hes spending more then his fair share of time in the box.

A friend of mine plays in the same league and Theo and said that he is a mouthly little jerk to play against but extremely talented.

Thanks guys for the info. Still strange to think that this is the same guy that was earning something like 6 million when he was with the Rangers only a few seasons ago. Good luck to him though, he was always talented and played like a warrior.

he started at Belfast like a house on fire, registering 3+4 on debut! Since then he's been more restrained, only played once at our place and didn't set the world alight. He's still the best player in the league by some distance...

Yeh, Theo exchanged some expletives with some fans at a recent road game against Coventry.

There are mixed reports as to what was said to him, some say it was personal abuse and totally out of order, others say it was no more than banter which Theo over-reacted to.

He was given a game misconduct for supposedly trying to get at a fan while he was serving a penalty.

Belfast have made a complaint about the Coventry fans, and Coventry have come out and said they did not condone Fleurys behavior and defended their fans in the role they may or may not have played in the incident.

Opinions on what happened are certailny divided, one thing is for sure, Theo needs to think long and hard about how he deals with this stuff.

Its a damn shame. If he was able to get it all together the NHL is perfect for his style of play now and he could help most any team ...

Madness, he almost took off a ref's head. His future in the EIHL's now unknown. Not sure why he's so upset all the time if he's dominating the league, unless there are enforcers in the league taking runs at him, or is it the land of Guiness and whisky..
