Thalia 10-15-2003, 12:14 PM When will Naslund "bump his slump"?
I say he'll get an assist by the end of the first period tomorrow against the Wings and he'll score his first goal in the 3rd period opening up the floodgates.
Guesses?
BTW does Forsberg have any points yet?

canucksfan 10-15-2003, 12:18 PM I think he will get a point today. Probably an assist.
I think his health isn't 100%

Edler Statesman* 10-15-2003, 12:29 PM Naslund has been playing well, he just hasn't been lighting up the scoresheet.

I keep on thinking today is Thursday for some reason.
colonel_korn 10-15-2003, 12:54 PM Naslund has been playing well, he just hasn't been lighting up the scoresheet.
That's true, his backchecking is *much* better. Hopefully he won't get discouraged from that, even if it does mean his point totals go down a bit.

I agree, Naslund has been playing well but I was just asking for guesses as to when he was going to get his first point... I'm not insinuating in any way that Naslund hasn't been playing well just b/c he doesn't have any points.
Thalia 10-15-2003, 01:12 PM I keep on thinking today is Thursday for some reason.
You mean you were *hoping* it was Thursday so you'd have a game to watch eh?
Actually, I was thinking all day today that it was Thursday too. This holiday Monday thing always throws me for a loop.
Thalia 10-15-2003, 01:15 PM I don't think Naslund will get 40 goals this season .Me neither. I think he'll get 45. ;)
Thalia 10-15-2003, 01:21 PM What I meant was , he won't top 40 goals this season . I think he'll get around 30-35 goals .
I know what you meant, I was just bugging you. :p
Thalia 10-15-2003, 01:31 PM
Why are you so interested on how many points Forsberg gets ?Hmmm, let me see. Oh yeah, I remember now.
HE STOLE ALL NAZZY'S HARDWARE LAST SEASON, THAT'S WHY!!!
No big deal, really, I'm over it already.
Nazzy is about as great a team captain as you could want, apart from wearing his heart on his sleeve when he chokes. Gifted athlete, decent and likeable guy who truly led his team all year - which is why the NHLPA voted him their MVP for the Pearson Trophy. I don't like the Avs but Forsberg is a hockey god. He didn't choke down the stretch and clutch the stick too hard:mad:. He deserved everything he got.
colonel_korn 10-15-2003, 03:57 PM Forsberg didn't steal anything , it was his hardware from the start . ;)
Not from the start...just at the end. :(

maruk14 10-15-2003, 05:15 PM No points, but he is +2. He has been better defensively, and that is the one area his game needs to be improved, and he appears commited to getting better. His points will come, but if he only manages 80 points and finishes +25 we will be better off anyway.
monster_bertuzzi 10-16-2003, 05:14 PM Forsberg has 3 assists in 2 games . :)
Not suprising, considering Forsberg isnt much of a goal scorer.
