It's amazing that we just let other teams pelt Roberto to death!!! Good thing this is not a stoning!!!!
Roberto has been strong in net and can only do so much.

i think as the year progresses and van ryn and mezei get a bit more comfortable, we will see some improvement in that area. i wouldnt say HUGE improvement, but SOME improvement isnt out of the question.

So far, while bearing in mind that it's very early, I see few signs of progress. The team continues to work hard, but the personnel mix, their deployment, and the strategy remains, for the most part, as it was last year.

I was at the game last night and boy it was dull watching the Panthers play dump and chase all night, especially when it wasn't working. They should have learned that lesson last year...very little puck control on offense led to many Coyote opportunities.
I don't think Florida was bad defensively, I think the problem was the lack of puck control. Our defense looks a lot better than last year. While Luggy was hit with a lot of shots, you can also say the quantity doesn't match up to the quality.
Same ole' story with the forwards though. IMO our personnel still do not fit Keenan's strategies. But it's nice to see guys playing more aggressively (like Huselius for instance), and Horton constantly in front of the net.

I rarely saw anyone in front of the net outside of Horton. Marcus did it once and awhile but that is another story.

I just hope Luongo doesn't get burned out both physically and mentally. A man's confidence is bound to drop when he stands on his head every night with no positive results.
