Do you agree with Marc Crawford going with Dan Cloutier as the starter tonight vs. the Detroit Red Wings?

No offense to Hedberg, but we've invested far more time and money in Cloutier to this point and time, and he IS still our No. 1 at this point. So it only makes sense to play him. This is an important game though, and Cloutier's going to have to show one hella good performance to keep the faith.

I voted for playing Cloutier tonight.

I would like to see him bounce back. Even if it's not a win, I still would like to see a solid game from him without the flip outs and the meltdowns.

It would be good to have both the goalies in top form so they could help each other out and the team could rely on both of them b/c it's a long season.

Although I'm not quite as enthusiastic about Cloutier starting as the selection I picked, I think Crawford made the right descision.

Starting a goalie controversey this early in the year is a rediculous idea ... look at the canadiens last year... Hedberg was brought in as insurance.... unless he gets shutout after shutout for the nucks... Cloutier is going to get the majority of starts.... Hedberg is incase clouts cant pull his weight come playoff time.... Hedberg is a proven playoff goalie... Clouts should start the more important games all year.

TONIGHT'S a HUGE night for Cloutier, not for the team, if they lose, well, then they lose, it's still early. But if Cloutier doesn't put in a GREAT effort then out will come the boo birds and it'll be the start of the long depression that Dan Cloutier will go into.

I agree with Crawford. I would also start Cloutier.

If the 'Nucks lose this game, I want it to be a team loss... not a Cloutier loss. That's the worst that can happen imo. The best I'm hoping for of course is the 'Nucks win it... as a team.

Win or lose I want to see a SOLID performance by EVERYONE!

I believe that Hedberg is a better fit for the team. But Cloutier is also capable of winning a fair # of games as well. He should play this evening.

Cloutier is the #1, and is the #1 until he makes a big mistake.
