Only thing you have to worry about is a leaky roof. I live near the Coquitlam River and I'm hoping it doesn't overflow. However, White Rock is getting shafted...that municipality has a pretty bad pass-the-buck government. Sewers are getting backed up EVERYWHERE and residents were having to get their own pumps to pump out sewage from getting into their homes. But for now, the clouds are passing to the north of the Lower Mainland. Weatherman says it's coming back for the week though. And for some reason, the resevoirs STILL aren't full.
