Good for Moncton, Tordjman is really good.

Coulombe is gonna rack up the assists playing on Chicoutimi...

I'd be mixed on this pick-up...

Yes, Tordjman is a great netminder (consistent, steady, good post-to-post, and used to seeing bucketloads of rubber), and should help to dispel any concerns that Moncton fans have between the pipes given Blanchard's occasional inconsistency, but man, is that a big price to pay or what. One of the best young goaltenders in the league, one of the best young defensemen in the league, and two high picks for an overage goaltender. But you do have to pay to get ahead, particularly when you're hosting the Memorial Cup. Good pickup, but ooooooooooooh boy... The shrewd pick of Riopel last draft looks better now.

Guess this spells the end of Hepditch in a Moncton uniform.

Are you seriously calling Jason Demers one of the best young defenseman in the league? that is one of the funniest thing i ever heard...

If you listen to a few Moncton fans, that is... ;)

Better... worst... :dunno:

Should have said one of the better 17-yr-old defensemen in the league. Should'a, but didn'a.

he's not the best 17 yo d-man (bodnarchuk maybe?), but demers has good potential, and should develop into a stud defenceman in the Q. it would have been nice to keep blanchard for insurance and send him at the draft, but victoriaville likely doesn't want brant miller starting the rest of the season.

I watched Demers at 15 with the LSL Tigres and honestly I wasnt impressed. But he is 17 now and he has improved so much. I would agree with Phil Laugher. Among 17 year olds he is one of the top in my opinion. Go watch him with Victo. With Moncton he barely played.

I'd like to see Gatineau trade for Rimouski's Nicholas Goyens.

I'm not overly sure if they need the help on D, but he's my cousin and I live an hour's walk from Centre Robert-Guertin, so I could go see him play at some point.
