Hey there,

Going to be travelling on business to Murray Hill, NJ. Just wondering (time wise) if visiting E. Rutherford would make sense. Anyone know best way or how much time it would take..Appreciate it.

I'd say it would take about 45 minutes to an hour. Just take I-78 east to the NJTP then take the Turnpike north to exit 16W. Watch your lanes...you don't want to end up going through the Holland Tunnel at face-off time...or Irvington or Hillside or Newark International Airport.
It's not that far...just that the traffic tends to jam up.
Just drive carefully and courteously and people will know you're from out
of state.
Parking: $10
Park near Giants Stadium and cross over the turnpike to the arena...
It would depend upon who the Devils are playing as far as ticket availability...you can usually get tickets at the box office - but you can probably get a great deal from one of the friendly scalpers if the game is sold out. Or call TickeTMiser at 201-507-8900 and get scalped by phone
Nosebleeds: $20
Fairly good seats (upper section): $52
[u]Lower bowl: $90/[u]
The best view of the ice is the first row at either end, about four yards on either side of the goal.
The concessions are a little pricey, but they don't let you bring a Hibachi into the arena (********)
Anyway...enjoy your trip!
