Eaves was involved in a collision as several players pursued the puck behind UND's net and crashed into the end boards. He left the game with an undisclosed head injury and did not return.

After the game, BC coach Jerry York said he was hopeful the Eagle captain would return to the lineup soon.

I am really high on Eaves. I think he'll turn out to be a 2-way second liner. I have a good feeling about him.

Yeah, that is a pretty hefty comparision. Comrie is damn good.

Eaves was drafted in the 4th round in 2001 I beleive. And yes, his size probably had an effect on the round he was drafted in.

It did, but he has been a high scoring player and competed for the Hobey Baker last year, along with another Pens prospect, which I am almost certain was Welch.

It's always a good thing to have two players in your system battling for the award for the best player in college hockey.:)
