I don't get a chance to follow college hockey too much, so just a question to those that do.
What kind of a job has he done at Notre Dame ???
From what I can gather, it sounds like he has really improved their recruiting, and they bring in much more talent than before.
It also sounds like that talent has performed as well as it should in relation to wins & losses.
Good recruiter and a bad coach .. would that be accurate ???

IMHO, I think he's done very well with what he has. He's managed to attract better talent to Notre Dame in recent years, but the Fighting Irish still have a ways to go to be in say Michigan's league as far as CCHA supremacy goes.
His best player IMHO is Right Winger Rob Globke (FLA) who's a terrific power forward that's off to a great start this season.

Poulin does have a good recruiter bad coach reputation now just because the talent is there in South Bend and they really havent accomplished much except going to the Super 6. But his recruiting classes have been great with wes o'neill and david brown this year its just a matter of putting it all together at this point.
