Who do you think will be the winner?
What team will surprise you the most?
Any other ideas on the season that has started.
As for the winner, I find it hard not to look down here in the AUS. THe UNB Varsity Reds, Dalhousie Tigers, St. F X X-Men all have very strong teams this year. Having the CIS finals here in Fredericton means that UNB will want to compete in it.
The surprise will have to be my STU Tommies. Last year they had a bad start but finished strong. Now they are on the right foot and moving forward. If nothing goes wrong look for them to do some damage this year.

Not to sound like a homer but...
The University of Alberta would seem to me to be the class of the CIS on an almost annual basis. They should have won it all last year so i'm thinking they've got something to prove.
Wasn't the final last year way out east too? Not a big CIS guy yet so I could be way off but I thought it was.

Yeah, it was in Fredericton last year as well. The University of New Brunswick hosted it last year, as well as this year.

How the heck does that make any sense? I suppose they get in for free because they are hosts too?

I think they do, but don't quote me on that.

Is there an other CIS hockey team in Qc beside Trois-Rivière? I know that there are no team in Sherbrooke and in Bishop university.

Going by that list it looks like there are more in PQ but play in the "Ontario" Conference.
