Hey Blue Jacket fans who needs Nikolai Zherdev when you have Sergei Mozyakin.Amazingly this 22 year old was a 9th round, 263 overall pick in 2002 by the Columbus Blue Jackets.At 17 games into this season his leads the prestigious Russian Super League in scoring including an extremely rare hat-trick today (Oct 22nd) in a 4-1 win over Neftekhimik.
Sergei might be small in stature but he is big on talent.He could definitely be the steal of last years draft.

Yes, he is on the first line with 22 year old LW Igor Yemeliev (undrafted) and 30 year old C Andrei Razin (Philadelphia Flyers).

He is currently second in the league in scoring, only 1 point behind Maxim Sooshinski.Mozyakin leads the league in goals though ....3 ahead of 2nd place Sergei Krivokrasov.
