Where did PATRICE BERGERON come from? While Staal, Horton, and Dustin Brown haven't even received their first point yet BERGERON, a second rounder last year is kicking their butts thus far!

"Last year". You can't make any comparisons until they reach this same place in their games. I can give you an endless list of guys who were drafted in the second round who outscore first rounders. It happens almost every draft. We hopefully will be able to say the same about Pushkaryov in a couple of year. That being said, you simply can't make a comparison of these guys with someone who is a year ahead of them in thier developement. A critical year at that.

When it comes to prospects, it's not a sprint it's a marathon. ;)

where did Patrice Bergeron-Cleary come from? The Quebec league, where he had a reasonable, but not spectacular first season last year. He was drafted in the second round, and has played very well in the early going, but his points all came in the game against the Kings, and the game against Anaheim the following night.

What impressed me about Bergeron was that coach Mike Sullivan sent him out to take a faceoff in the defensive zone when the Bruins were two men short. That's a level of responsibility normally not given to someone who is just 3 months removed from his 18th birthday.
