Haha. But I think Smyl was just trying to say Komar is versatile.

You guys see any chance of Komar bein called up this year? Or has he fallen too much on the depth chart?

I don't think he has a chance at all, unless the Canucks start having LA like injuries. He's fallen in the depth chart, it didn't help that he had a bad pre-season and slow start down in Manitoba while more prominent Canuck prospects have done well. Unfortunately for Zenith I don't think he will ever be an NHLer, it's too bad cause he seems like a good kid, just dosen't seem likely to work out with the Canuck organization . He would have to do very very well down in Manitoba to get a call up, so far he hasn't.

I dunno, Crawford has said repeatedly that he likes Komarniski's game. I doubt he would be the first callup, but he is good defensively as a forward, hits harder than any forward on the Canucks (note I did say forward). He is a relatively safe callup, as you know what you get. Just don't expect goals :) Still, I would guess Fedor is the first callup right now. What a start. Then maybe Reid, or someone with size if they feel they need it.

He has a great chance, I see him playing on the big club for a couple games. He played great in camp!
