The Wild Card isn't coming from the AL East
The Wild Card isn't coming from the AL East
I agree, if the three teams are fighting it out, it's unlikely more than one gets over 95 wins, which is probably the number you'll have to beat to be WC. I'm still not half as sold on the Jays as eveeryone else seems to be.

If there starting rotation can stay healthy all year and avoid any major injuries like last year they should be able to win that division. Again its a question of health for the jays. they have the talent in my opinion.

Compared to the Yankees? No they don't.

Could care less about the NL. Bank on the Mets finishing lower than 2nd, though.

You really think the yanks have a better rotation then the jays? The yanks dont even have a true ace. And no randy johson and mike mussina at theire ages are not aces anymore.
at randy johnsons age he will not pitch 6 months at a high level. He'll be lucky if he can pitch 4 months. Same goes for mussina. As youre number 3 you got a unprouven chinesse pitcher, you got some guy name chacon and pavano who had one good year in mlb. The yankes rotation smells like disaster in my opinion. Last year youre rotation almost hit rock bottom. youre lucky you were able to find chacon and small. the yanks rotation dident even get better this offseason. four of the jays five pitchers are intering theire prime years and one of them (holladay)is one of the best in the american league. top five at least. The rotation(sox, jays, yanks) thats going to be the healthyiest is going to take the a.l east crown.
can't forget the great Janet Wright in New York :sarcasm:
