The man who holds the Predators record for consecutive games played returns to Gaylord Entertainment Center tonight wearing a different uniform.
Defenseman Karlis Skrastins, who played 269 straight contests for Nashville, said it will feel a little unusual wearing a Colorado Avalanche jersey in Music City.
''That was my team, but the NHL is a professional sport and a business,'' said Skrastins, who became the first Predator draft pick to play for Nashville when he debuted on Feb. 9, 1999. ''So it will be exciting to be back in Nashville, but my team is Colorado and we have to win these games.''
