Hey all.

I took Alexandre Daigle in a fantasy hockey team. What's his role going to be now that Dupuis is signed. Is he still going to be a regular with PP time? Is he going to play on a line with Dupuis? Or is he going to be sitting out once in a while with less and less PP time?

Your guess is as good as ours. It's impossible to predict Lemaire's coaching moves. I wouldn't be surprised if Daigle is sent to the minors now that Dupuis is signed. I don't think it'll happen, but it also wouldn't drop my jaw to the floor.

Well, he is their leading goal scorer at this point with 3 - I think he's passed the first test. I'd be surprised if they dumped him now.

He has mustered some offense. He has also looked a tad tenative at times. I follow the Rangers as well as the Wild. Three or four years ago (three comebacks ago) he played splendidly for the Rangers for about 20 games. The papers were full of "Daigle finally arrives" articles. Then he just quietly went to sleep. The Wild might as well continue to keep him and give him significant ice, as they desparately need someone with the offensive flair.

If he continues his current play he would be definetely worth keeping. Yes, he has his flaws, but the Wild don't have many with his abilities. If Alex and Dupuis develop some chemistry- it would be awesome. From what I ve seen Daigle looks to pass first, but so far has zero assist and 3 goals, his passes haven't been converted into goals.

Hey now that Gaborik is back, maybe ? Daigle can play on the left side and Gaborik on the right and Bouchard down the middle.

That would make for a good 1st line !!

Daigle is available in my fantasy draft too,I'm thinking about taking him on board.See how he turns out he could be a very good sleeper !!.

I doubt we will see them together much (5 on 5). They lack size and defense might be a concern.
