I for one think Adrian Beltre is gonna tear up the AL after a sub par season...
im predicting 35hr 120rbi .290ba 13SB's
And he better because i drafted him on 3 of my 4 yahoo teams

Edit- did i say Beltre?
I meant Beltran,Carlos Beltran ;)

I'm willing to agree there. He reported to camp weighing the same that he did when he was with the Dodgers...which is a lot less than what he was last year.

I think he's just getting used to the American league parks. Sexton is tearing it up this spring too.

Roy Halladay is going to post an ERA of 0.00, win all 35 starts, and throw 300 innings.

Book it.

I like Beltre as a candidate but I still think he will find it hard to hit over 35 HR's while playing the majority of games in Seattle.

I think a guy like Scott Rolen or even Eric Gagne will be turning some heads. Rolen is ready to prove that he is fully healed and if he is, he will post crazy numbers in St. Louis.

HM's:

Armando Benitez
Jim Thome
Carlos Guillen
Magglio Ordonez
Nomar Garciaparra
JD Drew
Clint Barmes
Javy Lopez
Doc Halladay
Mike Piazza
Kevin Millwood

Millwood just led the AL in ERA, how to do bounce back from that?

True, I think if he improves his WL record like say go 18-10 or something like that then he has increasingly improved.

Although I think his ERA will take a hit.

Kevin Millwood has been perhaps the most underrated starter in the league for the past four or five years. He was lights out with Atlanta.

Him and Eric Chavez are two people i NEVER want on a fantasy team. I don't know why, I just hate em both.

Adrian Beltre is going to continue to be a crappy hitter. BOOK IT. I said he'd revert back to form last year, and lo and behold, he did. He had a fluke year in 2004, 2006 will only solidify that claim.

Aaron Boone sucks to. His only good season was 2001, it's too late to comeback to that.

Armando Benitez
Jim Thome
Carlos Guillen
Magglio Ordonez
Nomar Garciaparra
JD Drew
Clint Barmes
Javy Lopez

Nomar would probably be my pick, out of those. I'm tempted to say Thome, but something tells me he just won't be "back." I don't know how you put the reigning ERA king (Millwood) and a rookie (Barmes) on there. JD Drew would be a fine candidate but you just know he's gonna get hurt.

I wouldn't be wagering too much on Rolen staying healthy all year.

Vernon Wells and Roy Halladay.

With Glaus in the lineup, wells should get some more protection. If he can get off to a better start than he has the last 2 seasons I think he should be around 30-35 HR 100 RBI .300 avg.

Halladay will win the Cy Young in the AL this season: 24-4 2.33 era

I guarantee it.

Why is Vernon Wells even getting mentioned? What is he coming back from? He hit his 2nd most homers in 05 and almost drove in 100 runs. No major dropoffs from the year before in all of his stats. :dunno:

How can you even nominate a guy coming off an almost 30 homerun-100 rbi season? That's almost as bad as the Millwood suggestion.

For my pick, I'll roll the dice with Thome staying healthy enough this year for a 30-35 homer season with around 100 rbis.

Jeff Bagwell. Playing one game and throwing a successful throw would get my vote for comeback player of hte year award.
Also Beltre thinks that he will bounce back this season. He said he improved his swing(Did Mariners get a new hitting coach?)

Bobby Ryan Getzlaf

Eric Gagne's my pick.
