I'd say his stock has definitely gone up. Although, he isn't setting the OHL on fire, he is the leading rookie goal scorer with 7 and tied for second with 12 points. From what i've heard about him he has a good shot and good stickhandling skills, but isn't the faster skater in the world and needs to get a little better in the physical aspects of his game.

He is playing for the Owen Sound Attack (a top ten CHL team) and has been getting some first line playing time.

Yep, and he finished the year as a First team All-Rookie. I got to see Ruzicka alot for the Attack this year, and your report on his skill set is pretty bang on. Nice shot and excellent stickhandling skills. A dangerous player in the offensive zone. I look forward to watching his pro career soon.
