Which of these forwards would you rather have on a team?
Cooke vs. RolstonEdler Statesman* 10-27-2003, 12:09 PM Which of these forwards would you rather have on a team? monster_bertuzzi 10-27-2003, 12:21 PM Is it even a debate? Rolston is a bonified #2 centre that puts up 60+ pts consistantly, Cooke is a 3rd liner. Frozen Testicle 10-27-2003, 12:21 PM Rolston. Not much of a contest here. FlyersGuy69 10-27-2003, 12:43 PM Brian Rolston Epoch 10-27-2003, 12:46 PM Rolston. Hossa 10-27-2003, 12:46 PM Rolston, obviously. This is like asking Kris Draper vs. Brendan Morrison. You gonna pick Draper? Koltsov71 10-27-2003, 12:49 PM Brian Rolston. Xx Shadow xX 10-27-2003, 02:00 PM Brian Rolston. Robert Paulson* 10-27-2003, 04:38 PM Rolston. Ric Flair 10-27-2003, 05:01 PM Rolston chrisg77 10-27-2003, 05:30 PM Rolston Don'tcry4mejanhrdina 10-27-2003, 07:06 PM Rolston. #37-#93-#27* 10-27-2003, 07:10 PM Rolston is Cooke x2. Rowsdower 10-27-2003, 07:31 PM Rolston without a shadow of a doubt.... Mack 10-27-2003, 07:53 PM Brian Rolston PigPen 10-27-2003, 07:58 PM Cooke is my favorite canuck but I have to pick Rolston. He's the better player here. Dr.Strangelove91 10-28-2003, 07:11 AM Brian Rolston. Ajacied 10-28-2003, 07:12 AM LOL Rolston, no question. onearmedbandit14 10-29-2003, 04:38 AM Rolston. Pinto 10-29-2003, 12:00 PM Rolston without an thought Benji Frank 10-29-2003, 12:05 PM If you were a GM, would you trade Rolston for Cooke? Rolston is close ot a 30 goalscorer and a great penalty killer. Cooke brings alot to the table, but he's no rolston!!! MVP 10-29-2003, 09:27 PM If you were a GM, would you trade Rolston for Cooke? Rolston is close ot a 30 goalscorer and a great penalty killer. Cooke brings alot to the table, but he's no rolston!!! i can agree with that. Volchenkov 10-30-2003, 11:58 AM Rolston is a 30 goal scorer who is a tremendous PK guy. I would say his value is close to that of Bonk's if not more. I would give up Emery if it meant we could have Rolston for 5 years. Flyers26 10-31-2003, 09:17 AM Brian Rolston didjuicythat 11-02-2003, 02:37 PM That's a no brainer. Rolston should win it easily, although Matt Cooke actually brings a lot of things to the table, in my opinion. Mr. Canucklehead 11-02-2003, 05:10 PM Cooke is a great player, and certainly far more bang than his buck would suggest, but Rolston is easily superior. Notice how none of the people who voted Cooke came out and said they did and why. :p ~Canucklehead~ PK* 11-02-2003, 05:56 PM Right now, I'd take Rolston, but it's pretty close. Cooke is 25, Rolston is 30. So far in his career, Cooke has had similar stats to what Rolston had at the same age and Cooke imrpoved his offensive production in each year he has played in the NHL. Cooke looks like he might have breakout season this year, with 7 pts in 11 games (I know it's early, but so far he has played pretty good). Rolston had his breakout season at 25 (57 pts in 98-99) and he had a tough season the next year, being traded 3 times. He came back strong and he had 3 good seasons afterwards. So it might not be too far fetched to believe that Cooke might become the better of the two. #37-#93-#27* 11-04-2003, 03:58 AM 25 voted for Cooke, funny how none tried to back it up. KOMO_ROCKS 11-05-2003, 11:04 AM 25 voted for Cooke, funny how none tried to back it up. Yeah, but that is common with other polls as well I will go with Rolston over Cooke as well.... | ||
