Comrie?

Would LL make a pitch for Comrie? If he did, what players would it cost taking into account Edmonton's needs? Considering LL's fiscal responsibility, Comrie might make sense as they say it has become apparent that it's not mainly about the $ in Edmonton. Evidently, MC and KL don't see eye to eye on a lot of other issues. Who knows what that means? Comrie's young and would not, or should not, cost over $4M. Player wise, I would imagine Ed would want Gomez + or Rafalski.

Their dispute might not be about money, but whatever number is accepted will likely be between twice to three times what Gomez makes, so it will be about money from Lou's perspective given that he still wants to reduce payroll.

Just a question......how good is Comrie on Faceoffs??? That is def an area we could use someone who is really good. One of things we really miss Neiuwy for.

DeVFaN might have been referring to his faceoff abiliities and not what he'd bring back in a trade- ie: 33 percent on winning draws. :dunno:
