I have two words to describe his play tonight:

"he's ready"

Salvador played a regular shift all night and was teamed with every Cat defenseman exept Terry Virtue at even strength. He played on the penalty kill, but did not play on the power play.

Granato said that a decision would be made tomorrow if he's going to play here over the weekend. Based on what I saw he might play Saturday but to play both days this weekend would be long odds IMO.

If he didn't appear to be out of shape, they need to get him here for the game vs. the Hawks on Saturday.

If the decision is based on his conditioning I'd say he'll be up for Saturday...

Salvador looked great again, almost got into a fight but McLaren jumped in...I don't see any reason for him to play tomorrow.

T&G is reporting that Salvador will not play this afternoon vs the WB-S Penguins.
