Could the Isles be looking to add Gauthier now? Wouldn't mind seeing Weimer & Cairns for Gauthier & Prospect. His toughness, defensive ability, and scoring ability is too important to the team. But Im sure that if Flames want Scatch and Cairns, they can offer smthn better. Although I want to keep our team in tact for a while, to see where they go. When I see this in the Calgary papers and it mentions the Isles or Scatchard/Cairns specifically it's worth some discussion. These rumors never seem to reach the Islanders writers here. As good a nose for the net that Hunter is, and the kind of character guy Weimer is, Scatchard combines the best of both in one player.
