I have no problem with Russ's right to veto the list. That comes with the job.

I have no problem with the new list, at least no more problems than I did with the other list. I respect his opinion and his decision.

Nah that was just to see what a combined list would look like but a single person's list is more coherent since the prospects are all judged by the same standard.

Monych over Eager ? Ballsy pick.. gut feeling or something rbrooks?

Do you still have my list?

Here it is.. was easy to find in your posting history since you only have 9 posts :)

I have been to at least 3 training camp practices and will give it a try.
Here is my list today.

1. Sjostrom
2. Taffe
3. Leveneu
4. Podlesak
5. Pestunov (I've never seen him skate but here is where I want him)
6. Eager
7. Lukes
8. Knyazev
9. Gibbons
9.5 M Smith
10.Spiller
11.Polaski
12.Forster (not sure her but I will respect the pole to keep my list going)
13. Callahan (not sure here but I'll respect the pole)
14. Koreis " " "
15. McLachlin " "
16. Radenbach
17. Jaspers
18. I forgot about Schutte Help-where should he go???

Let me know where you guys would dissagree. I do agree Tselios is closer but Knyazev has more upside IMO. Ferraros would come after Jaspers.

I personally have never liked Eager. During training camp and scrimmages at the Ice Den Eager never stood out even when I was looking for him. I see him as a 3rd line grit player (Darren McCarty) who will score the occasional goal. Upside with him is his speed which I was impressed with for such a big guy. I was very upset when they used a 1st round pick on this guy.

As for Monych I was impressed at training camp and his play during the Red and White scrimmage. He isnt doing production wise what I expected out of him in Brandon although he does the lead the team in points.

They could go in either spot, but my dislike for Eager dropped him a spot.

I agree that Eager's potential is limited. He is an very good skater, but don't expect much offense from him. Yet, if the Coyotes ever hope to go deep into the playoffs they will need their 3rd and 4th line players to contribute. With Eager's speed and toughness, he is one of those players who will have better playoffs than regular seasons.

Monych could be the opposite ... he should have better regular seasons then playoffs. Not that he is a poor player, but he is less physical then Eager.

I would place Monych over Eager as well. I would also move up Knyazev ahead of Kories and McLeod.
