Go Kings...

I think the Kings are starting Cristobal Huet... I'm not totally sure... but I think I read it somewhere. Or maybe Huet will start against the Lightning. Does anybody know which way it is?

One would think Huet starts tonight and save Roman for Tampa tomorrow..

Any word on whether Dustin Brown will play tonight? Or any word on his immediate future with the Kings?

i read somewhere that they're limiting him to 40-60 games this year...he might sit out one of these back to back games...my bet is he'll be in uniform tonight and sit out tomorrow's game.

We usually don't do well against the Florida teams. A win tonight would be huge!

Ok... every time I predict a win, they lose. My last prediction was that they'd lose 15 to 0 and they won 7-3. So... Florida 12, Kings 1 as Jokinen tallies 6 goals and Kozlov adds a hattrick. The lone Kings goal, Cechmanek clears the puck around the boards, it hits one of those braces, takes a crazy hop, and bounces past Luongo's right pad and in.

Is Cech gonna call the bankshot on that one or just try to play it off afterwards?

He's gonna call it Babe Ruth style.

If Dustin Brown plays, he scores his first goal.

I think you might have jinxed dfa. You aren't supposed to tell us what you are up to. We knew. That being said, I KNOW that FLA will win BIG tonite and that the score will be FLA 5 and LA 2. Ollie will make us pay and Brown (if) and Frolov will suck out loud.

I am certain i saw one of the horseman of the apocolypse tonite. Did I actually see the highly vaunted Power Play unit of Sim Pirnes and Avery? (or was it klatt?) Mystery.

Nice set up by Luc though, not bad for someone who isn't a top sixer.

why is sim on the 2nd unit powerplay?

gleason needs to work on his positioning. he's always doing this at every other game. i guess this was what the ottawa fans were talking about when he got traded.

Has anyone else noticed an absence of Frolov tonite? Am I missing something? Is he a scratch? I thought I saw him once earlier but not lately. Is this another one of Am's BS over coaching of a young player things?

He had a couple of scoring opportunities in the 1st, but I haven't really seen him out there since. He only has about 8 mins ice time thru 2 periods.

Thanks guy. I will never get the way AM treats Frolov. He will give guys like Sim a TON of ice time and use Frolov sparingly when he has shown that he responds better by getting more ice time. The kid is playing really well lately, better cut his ice time down and play him with a bunch of different guys so he can't develope any consistancy.

Contrary to popular opinion, I really don't see why everyone thinks he is an NHL calibre defenseman right now. For the most part, Holland has outplayed him and noone is going to be calling Jason Holland an NHL calibre defenseman anytime soon.

I think he should probably be in the AHL for this year. Unfortunately, we don't have that defenseman with bite DT said he was getting so we are forced to rush Gleason into the lineup.

could not agree with you more willie...the first few games he looked pretty good...but thus far, his shortcomings are getting more evident...
